Dr. Alex Sapienza
Having known Maryland all his life, Dr. Alex Sapienza discovered his passion for sciences at an early age, fueling his curiosity at Towson University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He continued his studies at the prestigious University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.
Dr. Sapienza is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association. Dr. Sapienza prioritizes creating a welcoming and stress-free environment – aspects of general dentistry which are paramount for high level, personalized care.
Committed to providing the highest level of care, Dr. Sapienza has undertaken extensive continuing education in every discipline of dentistry, completing courses in prosthodontics, periodontics, root canal therapy, and oral surgery. His diverse background in education enables him to offer his patients a wide range of treatment options, ensuring a healthy smile that aligns with their individual goals and needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sapienza enjoys spending time outdoors and sailing the open waters of the Chesapeake.
