Dr. Gene H. Garrett, DDS

Born and raised in Maryland, Dr. Garrett graduated in 1978 from the University of Virginia at Wise with a double major in Chemistry and Biology and a minor in Mathematics. He graduated in the top 20% of his class from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1982. He served as a dentist in the US Navy for 8 years beginning at the Marine Corps Base in Camp Lejuene followed by prestigious assignments aboard the Admirals's 6th Fleet Flagship in Gaeta, Italy and the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. Dr Garrett was awarded the Navy Commendation Metal in 1986. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Dr. Garrett began private practice in 1988. While focusing on providing the most up to date care, he strives to create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Garrett has been recognized as a top dentist, by both patients and peers, in numerous local publications including the Pasadena Voice, Baltimore Magazine, Chesapeake Magazine, the Maryland Gazette, and What's Up? Annapolis.

earned his Fellowship (1999) and Mastership (2007) from the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, the Anne Arundel County Dental Society, and the Chesapeake Implant Study Club. He completed the Graduate Synergy Training Program, a Comprehensive Multidisciplinary Team Approach to Restorative Therapy for Osseointegrated Dental Implants, in 2013. Dr. Garrett has expanded his practice to include advanced aesthetic and functional treatments utilizing dental implants. He is certified to administer Botox and Juvederm.

lives in Pasadena, Maryland with his wife, Bonnie, who serves as the Dean for Student Success at Anne Arundel Community College. Their son Lee and daughter-in-law Shannon have four young sons.
